The gondola heads up the mountain and your gaze immediately wanders in all directions. You see the extensive Ratschingstal valley with its lovely villages. Dense coniferous forests stretch far below you and into the Sterzing Wipptal valley. Further up, the ever-white peaks of the Stubai Alps and the impressive mountain massif of the western Dolomites await you.
